"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it
is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what
it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it
so!" ~ Mark Twain
"Science has never drummed up quite as effective a
tranquilizing agent as a sunny spring day." ~ W. Earl
Hall

out there who feel the same way you do and are struggling with the same
challenges you are! And that is why I wrote this book - to help you take
the guesswork out of filling your practice and offer you a step-by-step method

A systematic review of the clinical effectiveness of acupuncture
for allergic rhinitis - Allergies cause a considerable burden to both
sufferers and the National Health Service. There is growing interest in
acupuncture as a treatment for a range of conditions. Since acupuncture
may modulate the immune system it could be a useful treatment for allergic
rhinitis (AR) sufferers. We therefore assessed the evidence for the clinical
effectiveness of acupuncture in patients with AR by performing a systematic
review of the literature.

Acupuncture now covered -- sort of - British Columbia is now
the first and only province to agree to pay for acupuncture with public medical
insurance funds. The change, announced last October and officially launched
April 1, has been hailed by acupuncture and Chinese medicine
practitioners.
Need(le) broader acupuncture law - Assemblymember Ellen Young
hopes her colleagues will get the point when they consider a bill she introduced
recently - herbal remedies are an integral part of acupuncture, the ancient
Chinese medicinal therapy. Under current law, while New York State
recognizes degrees in acupuncture and licensed practitioners, it gives them no
authority to suggest or compound the herbal mixtures, which had always been an
integral part of the method.
New York State Acupuncture Coalition, Inc. to Host Acupuncture Day
on May 7 in Albany - The New York State Acupuncture Coalition, Inc.
(NYSAC) will host Acupuncture Day on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. to
3:30 p.m. at "The Well" in the Legislative Office Building in Albany. Officials,
representatives and educators from acupuncture colleges, state and national
organizations, volunteers, the general public and the media will gather to
discuss proposed legislation that affects NYS licensed acupuncturists, schools
of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM), the NYS Office of Professions, and
most importantly, patients. The proposed legislation intends to legitimize that
which already exists: the practice of using herbs by acupuncturists with
extensive and credentialed herbal training. Light refreshments will be
served.

a free introductory seminar explaining the benefits of EFT and teaching others
how to use EFT in their everyday lives to help achieve clarity. Emotional
